Our Chapel is less than half a mile
north-west of the centre of Chorley, now a town of about 100,000 inhabitants. Chorley is well served by the road
network: situated on the A6 and with easy access to and from the M6 and
M61. There are also frequent bus and train services.
Approaching via the M61
From the north,
Leave the motorway at Junction 8.
Turn right at the roundabout.
From the south
Leave the motorway at Junction 8.
Turn left at the roundabout.
Shortly, turn left at the
next roundabout and follow
the signs for the A6.
Straight on at the next roundabout.
After1/2 mile, going downhill, come to 2 roundabouts close together. Fork right at
the 2nd roundabout.
At the next roundabout, with the Leisure Centre on the left, turn right.
Bear left at the top of the hill.
After 1/4 mile Park Street is the last road on the left.
There is a small sign to 'Unitarian Chapel' on
a lamp post, and a Chapel notice board in a garden on the corner of Park Street.
Approaching from the south via the A6
Immediately after the 'Welcome to Chorley' sign, fork right at the roundabout into
a dual carriageway (Lyons Lane South).
Go straight on at five further roundabouts, passing the train station on
the right.
At the sixth roundabout, with Halfords on the right, turn left.
Bear left at the top of the hill.
After 1/4 mile Park Street is the last road on the left.
There is a small sign to 'Unitarian Chapel' on
a lamp post, and a Chapel notice board in a garden on the corner of Park Street.
Approaching from the west via the A581
At the first traffic lights in the town centre, with 'Ince Williamson' on right, turn left.
At the next lights go straight on for 350 yards.
Park Street is the first road on the right, with a Chapel notice board in a garden on
the corner.

Parking is permitted on Park Street, Parker Street and adjoining side streets.
